RS- Industrial Chic Lighting

DeCOR Design Center of Richmond, Virginia opened it's doors to designers, their clients and the public this past May. At last, an opportunity to experience a wonderfully diverse selection of  furniture, accessories and everything in between for your home, all under one roof. There is something for everyone here, including Wendy Umanoff's Restoring Style Lighting Collection. 

Experience an eclectic blend of reclaimed luminous objects, that are thoughtfully designed and task worthy. RS Lighting tells stories that are steeped in tradition while not conforming to traditional convention. Most lamps, pendants, sconces and chandeliers are created as one of a kind fixtures,  are produced in small runs and are guaranteed to have subtle differences. All lighting is produced in Richmond Virginia and uniquely created from regional finds. The Lease Is Signed!

Ari signed the lease on his loft! He is so excited, a place to call ...

Now to begin defining what his space will look and feel like. The end result will be a harmonic blend of colors, textures, light and sound.

"First idea. So basically, everybody sits around this table and has separate conversations and drinks coffee.  I like the idea of a couch/coffee table thing going on." 

"I love books and want to incorporate them into my space. Both those

I've read, intend to read and also guilty pleasures..."

Q: What are the circles? A: Rings from a barrel Q: Could we incorporate records? A: Yes! 

Do you know about 'door sixteen'?

"I like, particularly the book shelves, which are essentially Crate and Barrel media units that are marketed to be sold horizontally."

"From apartment therapy/west hollywood... would love to get my hands on a dolly like this, although I have a similar idea for the industrial desk I'm about to send you..."

"The top has got to go. What I like about this piece is it's rustic, science minded frame. Like the color and draw space.. Thinking about installing a lucite top with a built-in cylindrical vase for flowers... Or something".

"Ideally, the overhead projector would sit on a wooden pedestal, elevating it's surface so that the table edge has a clean deliberate border. All I need now is to find an area rug that will help define the space and a cool, modern couch, and maybe some chairs, so two people could sit and talk across from one one another, or next to each other and watch what the projector is projecting..."
